Ten years ago today, I met Colin Baker for the first time at the MCM Comic Con in London, while he was signing at the Weta booth.
I’d just been announced as the writer of DOCTOR WHO: THE FORGOTTEN, was signing at the comic zone and introduced myself to him.
Even though I was a complete stranger he was incredibly kind to me, something I learned over the years wasn’t just politeness, but an integral part of the man that Colin is.
Over the last decade we’ve had adventures together all over the world, we’ve almost made films together and we’ve laughed together. Truly one of the most underrated actors alive, a good friend, a genuinely amazing man and my favourite Doctor.
